DENVER — Veteran defensive back Usama Young and second-year pro, Eric Hagg, are expected to start for the Cleveland Browns today against the Denver Broncos at Sports Authority Field at Mile High.
Young will make his 12th start in 13 games this season and play strong safety for T.J. Ward, who was placed on injured reserve earlier in the week. Hagg will start in place of Young at free safety. Earlier in the year, Hagg started two games at free safety.
Young has made 47 total tackles, including 33 solo stops, registered 1.5 quarterback sacks and collected two interceptions this year. He has broken up six passes and recovered a fumble. Hagg has made 17 total tackles and broken up one pass this year.
