ARLINGTON, Texas — The Cleveland Browns called “heads” and the coin toss prior to overtime came up “tails.” The Dallas Cowboys will get the ball to start the overtime period.

The Browns and Cowboys have never played an overtime game against each other.

Cleveland is 16-16-1 all-time in regular-season overtime games. They last played an overtime game at the Arizona Cardinals on Dec. 18, 2011. The Browns lost that game, 20-17, when Cardinals kicker Jay Feely converted a 22-yard attempt in the extra session.
