Winn recovers Mathews fumble

Cleveland Browns rookie defensive tackle Billy Winn recovered a fumble by San Diego running back Ryan Mathews at the Chargers’ 46-yard line with 41 seconds left in the first quarter of play from Cleveland Browns Stadium.

On first-and-10 from San Diego’s 36-yard line, Mathews ran to the right of the formation for a four-yard gain before rookie linebacker James-Michael Johnson forced the fumble.

The turnover came on the play following Reggie Hodges’ 31-yard punt.
