Hillis scores another
Posted by on November 28, 2010 – 7:10 pmPeyton Hillis scored his third rushing touchdown of the day from six yards out and helped the Browns build a 21-7 lead over the Carolina Panthers at Cleveland Browns Stadium Sunday afternoon.
Hillis’ other scores were from nine and five yards away.
He has a new career high for rushing touchdowns in a game with those three scores and is tied for the league lead with 13 total touchdowns. He had twice scored two touchdowns in a game, including in this season’s 34-14 Browns win over the New England Patriots.
Hillis is the first Browns running back to score three touchdowns in a game since Jerome Harrison accomplished the feat in last season’s 41-34 win over the Kansas City Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium.
