With a 21-yard field goal late in the second quarter, kicker Phil Dawson became the third Browns player ever to reach 1,000 points for his career.

Pro Football Hall of Famer, the late Lou Groza is the franchise’s all-time leader with 1,349 points and Don Cockroft is second with 1,080 points.

Phil Dawson will be missed when he retires. We are spoiled by his “just kickin a field goal”. He is the only player still here since our rebirth in ’99′.
